About the Loft

The Loft in building D is part of the campus of the NHL Stenden Hogeschool in Leeuwarden and located on the ground floor. The Superior Loft has an extra high ceiling and is in total 4 meters high. This apartment is equipped with a living room, a kitchen and a separate bedroom. A stair leads to a mezzanine floor with one extra bed. The bedroom on the ground floor is furnished with a European king size bed which measures 160cm wide and 200 long. On the second mezzanine floor you will find another European king size bed which measures 160 cm x 200 cm as well as a one person’s 90cm wide and 200cm long bed, which is perfect for sharing, or for sleepovers. The mezzanine floor is 150 cm high. Please take a look at the floorplan of the ground floor mezzanine for sizes and the overview. In total this apartment gives room to three beds.

The living area of the Loft is equipped with a big dining table, a cozy couch with separate lounge chair and coffee table. There is a wardrobe to store your clothes.

You will also have a 55-inch TV to enjoy the movie nights at home.

Furthermore, the Loft includes your own bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and your own kitchen area with an oven/microwave-combination, stove, sink, refrigerator combination, dishwasher. You won’t have to worry about cleaning dirty dishes yourself. Pots, pans and cutlery are not included. The kitchen also contains a private washing machine and dryer combination for cleaning your clothes. This specific Loft has nice, large, inward opening windows, (French balcony) as well a private balcony! A Loft can be booked maximum by two persons without extra charge. The Loft is the ideal place to stay if you want to share your apartment with a friend (or as a couple) without extra costs.

About the Residence

Building D features 107 brand-new studios and apartments spread across five floors. The south-facing side of the building overlooks the green and peaceful Rengerspark. Construction was completed in August 2022, providing high-quality and fully modern student housing for international students.

Furniture

All studios and apartments are fully furnished and designed with both comfort and functionality in mind. A professional interior designer created the spaces with smart storage solutions and a calming colour palette of light blue (turquoise), ocean blue, and dark green, resulting in a warm and practical living environment.
